Gigi Hadid kicked off New York Fashion Week with unforgettable appearances on the Tom Ford runway.
The 21-year-old supermodel looked gorgeous in minimal makeup with her hair slicked back into a neat bun as she walked during the designer’s presentation of his fall 2016 men’s and women’s collections Wednesday evening. Held at N.Y.C.’s Seagram Building, the intimate dinner event saw Hadid modeling looks including a long-sleeved black velvet dress with a multi-strap belt and a multicolored fur coat over another long black dress and thick belt.
Prior to the presentation, Hadid looked casual and cool in a knotted white crop top paired with ripped boyfriend jeans, gray patent boots, and a gray fur shawl, and seemed ready to strut down the runway, even in her off-duty-model outfit.
Former One Direction member Zayn Malik (and Hadid’s beau) arrived solo to the event, where he looked dapper in an all-black ensemble of a double-breasted coat, a turtleneck, and tailored pants. The singer looked to be letting his hair grow out: He sported a full beard and wore his long hair arranged in a perfectly disheveled “I woke up like this” style.
This week the “Like I Would” singer canceled a concert in Dubai due to his battle with anxiety; earlier this summer Hadid took to Twitter to express her support for him throughout his struggles.
